WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -Â The Lycoming College men's soccer team fell, 2-0, to the Catholic University of America in Landmark Conference play at UPMC Field on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 19.
First-year goalie Jace Bennett (Falling Waters, W.Va. / Spring Mills) saved three shots in the first half and junior goalie Sheadon Ludwig (Pittsburgh, Pa. / IMG Academy) notched one save in the second half.
Lycoming (7-4-4 overall, 2-2-2 Landmark Conference) notched three shots and six corners. Catholic (6-5-3 overall, 3-0-3 Landmark Conference) posted three shots and three corners.
Catholic's Maxim Pencak and Holden Woodings secured the Cardinals' two goals in the first half.
The Warriors hit the road for Wilkes-Barre, Pa., on Wednesday, Oct. 23, for a key 7 p.m. Landmark Conference game against Wilkes University.
