WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Three Lycoming College volleyball players finished with more than 10 kills as the team hit nearly .300 to down Penn State-Hazleton, 3-1 (25-16, 25-27, 25-12, 25-13) in non-conference action at Lamade Gym on Tuesday night, Oct. 1.

Brynne Bisel (Julian, Pa./Bald Eagle Area) and
Arianna Santos (Oxford, Pa./Oxford Area) each had 13 kills, with Bisel adding three aces, 15 digs and a block and Santos posting three blocks. Junior
Cameron Upcraft (Spring Mills, Pa./Penns Valley) added 11 kills and six digs, sophomore
Trinity Powell (Charlotte, N.C./Charlotte-Mecklenberg Virtual) and senior
Camryn Quelet (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) each added six kills.

Haley Balgavy (Warrenton, Va./Kettle Run) posted 24 assists, four kills, three aces and seven digs and sophomore
Ima Mercado (Mifflintown, Pa./Juniata) added 24 assists and four aces. First-year
Liz Mayer (Lafayette Hill, Pa./Plymouth-Whitemarsh) added six blocks and senior
Ali Koval (Mansfield, Pa./North Penn-Mansfield) posted 26 digs and seven assists.

The Warriors (6-8 overall) hit better than .300 in three sets that they won and didn't trail after a late Penn State-Hazleton (9-8 overall) rally helped it win the second set.

Sydney Mack posted 12 kills, 11 digs and two blocks for the Lions. Kaytlin Kelley had seven kills. Sophia Vacchio posted 26 assists and nine digs, Nora Jones added 16 digs and three players had two aces.

The Warriors get back on the court and into Landmark Conference play on Friday, Oct. 4, when they head to Catholic for a 6 p.m. match.
