LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Sophomore
Emma Kelchner (Nescopeck, Pa./Central Columbia) and junior
Sarah Lanphear (Chittenango, N.Y./Chittenango) each won their singles matches in superset tiebreakers to lead the Lycoming College women's tennis team, which fell to Division II Lock Haven University, 7-2, in non-conference action on Friday, Sept. 8.

Kelchner downed Mary Hillman, 6-4, 3-6, 10-8, at No. 3 singles and Lanphear overcame Christy McLean, 3-6, 6-4, 10-8, at No. 4 singles, as each earned their first wins of the year.

The Warriors fell to 0-2 and Lock Haven improved to 1-0.

The Warriors are back on the court on Tuesday, Sept. 12, at 3:30 p.m. when they head to Misericordia University for a non-conference match.
