WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Senior Hiyori Iai (Zushi, Japan/Yokohama Science Frontier) won her first match of the season in a superset tiebreaker to lead the Lycoming College women's tennis team, as it fell to Drew University, 8-1, in Landmark Conference action at Brandon Park on Thursday evening, Sept. 14.
 
Iai outlasted Kapriana Payami, 4-6, 7-6 (3), 10-8, at No. 6 singles, coming back to complete the meet for the Warriors (0-3 overall, 0-1 Landmark). Drew improved to 1-1 overall and 1-0 Landmark.
 
The Warriors get back on the court on Thursday, Sept. 21, when they host Penn State-Altoona at 6:30 p.m. under the lights at Brandon Park.
