WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Senior twins Hannah and Haley Seebold (New Columbia, Pa./Milton Area) kicked off the 2023-24 Lycoming College women's tennis season with an 8-6 win at No. 2 doubles against Alfred University, leading the team in an 8-1 setback on Wednesday evening, Sept. 6, at Brandon Park.
 
The Seebold twins defeated Abigail Call and Elizabeth Madson of the Saxons (3-0 overall) in their first match together in college.
 
Sophomore Emma Kelchner (Nescopeck, Pa./Central Columbia) fell in a superset tiebreaker at No. 3 singles in a tight match with Anna Gwozdz, 5-7, 7-6 (4), 10-1.
 
The Warriors (0-1 overall) are back on the court on Friday, Sept. 8, when they head to Lock Haven University for a 4 p.m. match.
