ALTOONA, Pa. – Sophomore
Aubrey Williamson (Lititz, Pa./Warwick) drilled a shot into the right upper 90 in the 29
th minute to score in her second straight game for the Lycoming College women's soccer team, but defending Presidents' Athletic Conference champion Westminster College notched three goals in the first 12 minutes to post a 3-1 win to wrap up the Penn State-Altoona Tournament at Spring Run Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 2.

Williamson, who led the Warriors (1-1 overall) with six of the team's 10 shots, found some space and dribbled into the left side of the box, separated from a defender and fired a shot high into the right corner to score Lycoming's only score.

Westminster (2-0 overall) scored three goals in the first 12 minutes, but managed just five other shots on goal in the contest. Brooke Horvath led the Titans with two goals in the opening moment and Chloe LaRosa also scored.

Abbey Gerasimoff (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg Area) and sophomore
Riley Block (Hopatcong, N.J./Morris Catholic) made five saves in net for the Warriors, with Gerasimoff stopping one and Block stopping three. Morgan Murphy stopped three shots in the win for Westminster.

The Warriors get back on the field on Wednesday, Sept. 6, when they host Mount Aloysius at 4 p.m. in the team's 2023 opener at UPMC Field at Keiper Stadium.
