Warriors shut down Keystone, 3-0

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Senior Nick Wilke (Mercerville, N.J./Notre Dame) stopped four shots in his third shutout of the season and a pair of Lycoming College men's soccer players scored the second goals of their years as Lycoming posted a 3-0 win over Keystone College on Saturday, Sept. 16, at UPMC Field.

Junior Jaeden Asare (Letterkenny, Ireland/Perry Hall (Md.)) got the Warriors on the board in the 24th minute, scoring on a cross from senior Kenny Clapp (Baltimore, Md./Archbishop Curley) before first-year Aiden Stillman (Silver Spring, Md./Albert Einstein) set up senior Brayden Wise (Baltimore, Md./Archbishop Curley) in the 30th minute, as Wise finished the goal off by meeting the cross about a foot off the ground and drilling it into the left side of the net.

In the second half, sophomore Chris Djadja (Gaithersburg, Md./Quince Orchard) scored on a cross from senior Jordan Jackson (Edison, N.J./Edison) to cap off the win, as it was the first point of Jackson's career.

The Warriors notched 26 shots in the game and held the Giants to five, with four on target for Wilke. Dominic Weber stopped nine shots for the Giants. Lycoming also held a 6-1 advantage in corner kicks.

The Warriors get back on the field on Wednesday, Sept. 20, when they head to Penn State-Harrisburg for a 7 p.m. game.
