Hiyori Iai (Zushi, Japan/Yokohama Science Frontier) notched a singles and doubles win to lead the Lycoming College women's tennis team, which fell to Penn State Altoona, 6-3, under the lights at Brandon Park on Thursday night, Sept. 21.

Iai posted a 6-3, 6-3 win over Isabella Rhoades at No. 4 singles and teamed with junior
Sarah Lanphear (Chittenango, N.Y./Chittenango) to post an 8-2 win over Rachel Stricek and Rhoades at No. 2 doubles.

Michaela Sedor (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro Area) also won her first career match, posting a 6-0, 6-0 win over Julia Daley at No. 6 singles.

The Warriors fell to 0-4 and Penn State Altoona improved to 4-2.

The Warriors get back on the court on Wednesday, Sept. 27, when they head to Misericordia for a 3:30 p.m. match.
