DALLAS, Pa. – Junior
Austin Craig (Freeland, Md./Hereford) led the Lycoming College men's golf team with a 21
st-place finish in a field of 45 golfers at the 2023 MAC Freedom Championship at the par-72, 7,135-yard Huntsville Golf Club on Sunday, April 22.

Craig finished the first round with a 89 before posting an 83 in the second round to finish with a 28-over-par 172 to take 21
st. Â Craig had 10 pars in the second round and shot a stellar 3-over-par on the back nine on Sunday to move up the leaderboard.

The Warriors finished ninth at the tournament, posting a two-round total of 770 (397-373), improving by 24 strokes in the second round.

Junior
Ian Plankenhorn (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville Area) notched a second-day 94, senior
Blake Premo (Massena, N.Y./Massena) shot a 97 and senior
Michael Coe (Pittston, Pa./Pittston Area) shot a 99 to round out the second round scores.

The Warriors also completed the first round on Sunday morning, with Craig leading the Warriors with a 89, Plankenhorn posting a 95, Premo notched a 100 and first-year
Dylan Seck (Sayre, Pa./Athens Area) added a 113.

Plankenhorn finished in 35
th place with a two-day 189 (95-94).

Stevens won the team title, notching a two-day 607 (313-294) to beat Arcadia, which posted a 642 (322-320). Gus Vickers of Stevens earned medalist honors, as he posted a two-day 149 (77-72), three strokes better than Misericordia's Brett Herman.
