HOBOKEN, N.J. – Making nine saves in goal for the Lycoming College women's lacrosse team, junior goalkeeper
Zoe Stauffer (Lititz, Pa./Warwick) moved into a tie for third on the Lycoming College women's lacrosse team's career saves list, as Lycoming fell, 16-6, against No. 24 Stevens Institute of Technology on Saturday, April 22, at the DeBaun Athletic Complex.

Stauffer's 419 career saves ties Mandi Stranix '99 for the third spot on the Warriors' career saves list and she also picked up a team-leading three groundballs.

Sophomore
Katie Maguire (Garnerville, N.Y./Albertus Magnus) led the Warriors (8-6 overall, 4-2 MAC Freedom) with four goals, as she tied her mark of 58 goals scored in 2022. She also picked up two ground balls and won four draw controls. Sophomore
Kailey Stocker (Ringwood, N.J./Lakeland Regional) scored once and added two ground balls and first-year
Riley Block (Hopatcong, N.J./Morris Catholic) notched a goal, an assist, a ground ball, caused two turnovers and won a team-high eight draw controls. Block is five goals from joining Maguire with 50 scores this season.

Maguire broke the Ducks' (14-1 overall, 6-0 MAC Freedom) seven-goal run to open the first quarter with a goal as she spun around two defenders for an over-the-shoulder shot on the cage. Maguire scored again on a free-position opportunity in the second quarter.

Awarded two more free position attempts, Maguire finished off her hat trick at 7:38 and notched another goal at 11:44 in the fourth.

Clearing the ball off a save by Stauffer, Block caught the ball outside the arc off a pass from sophomore
Alexa Baldwin (Bel Air, Md/Harford Tech) and scored on a high shot. Stocker, gaining possession on a ground ball scuffle finished off the scoring for the Warriors with 2:21 remaining in regulation.

The Ducks were led by Camryn Rogers with five goals, Emily Leiby with four goals, and Zoe Cook with three goals and three ground balls.

Lauren Cunniff and Erica Strojny combined for 10 saves as Cunniff earned the win with eight stops.

The Warriors return to the field on Wednesday, April 26, when they host Misericordia University in MAC Freedom action at 7 p.m. at UPMC Field.
