MADISON, N.J. – First-year
Emma Kelchner (Nescopeck, Pa./Central Columbia) reached 10 singles wins on the season to highlight a clean sweep for the Lycoming College women's tennis team, as it beat FDU-Florham, 9-0, in MAC Freedom action on Sunday, April 16, at the St. Elizabeth University Tennis Courts.

Kelchner also teamed with junior
Emily Wolfgang (Montgomery, Pa./Montgomery) to post an 8-1 win at No. 1 doubles, while sophomore
Rei Saar (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville Area) and junior
Haley Seebold (New Columbia, Pa./Milton Area) notched an 8-2 win at No. 2 and sophomore
Sarah Lanphear (Chittenango, N.Y./Chittenango) and first-year
Greta Kimble (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport Area) added an 8-4 win at No. 3.

In singles action, Wolfgang outlasted Maggie Cronkhite at No. 1 singles, posting a 4-6, 6-4, 6-1 win, and Saar notched a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles. Kelchner improved to 10-5 in singles play with an 8-3 superset win.

Seebold posted a 6-1, 6-4 win at No. 4, Lanphear notched a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 5 and Kimble added a 6-3, 6-0 win at No. 6.

The Warriors improved to 7-7 overall and 2-3 in the MAC Freedom. FDU-Florham fell to 1-7 overall and 0-4 in the MAC Freedom.

The Warriors are back in action on Tuesday, April 18, when they head to King's College for a key 3:30 p.m. MAC Freedom matchup.
