EBENSBURG, Pa. – Forcing a tiebreaking third set at No. 2 singles, junior
Luke Leach (Middlebury Center, Pa./Wellsboro Area) came back for the deciding fifth point, his second win of the day, as the Lycoming College men's tennis team downed Mount Aloysius College, 6-3, for its second straight win, on Friday, March 24, at the Ebensburg Tennis Center.

Leach, dropped his first set to Matt Jacobs, 7-5, but struck back in the second set to down Jacobs, 6-4 to force the tiebreaking third set. Leach won the tiebreaker, 10-3, to clinch the match.

In the No. 1 doubles position with senior teammate
Nathan Redell (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro Area), Leach defeated Cole Kazmierczyk and Jacobs, 8-4.

Jason Anderson (Littlestown, Pa./Littlestown) also gave the Warriors two wins. In the No. 3 singles spot, Anderson defeated Lucas Letizia, 6-3, 6-4, after downing Letizia and Zach Johnson with sophomore
Mohammed Ebeid (Cairo, Egypt/Egyptian British International School), 8-5.

Connor Albaugh (Montoursville, Pa./Loyalsock Township) defeated Johnson at No. 4 singles, 6-4, 6-3, and first-year
Josh Neidert (Reading, Pa./Oley Valley) downed Tyler Gannon, 7-5, 7-5, at No. 6.

The Mounties stall at 2-3 overall as the Warriors advance to 2-3 overall.

The Warriors return to the court on Wednesday, March 29, when they host Lancaster Bible College at 3 p.m. in Brandon Park.
