SCRANTON, Pa. – The Lycoming College field hockey team fell to first-place University of Scranton, 10-0, in a Landmark Conference game at Weiss Field on Wednesday night, Oct. 25, to wrap up its 2024 season.

The Warriors (4-12 overall, 0-9 Landmark) set a school-record with 25 goals, one more than the 1987 team. Sophomore
Kelly Preston (Boonton, N.J./Mountain Lakes) led the tean with seven goals while first-year
Loghan Shelly (Manheim, Pa./Manheim Central) and sophomore
Autumn Shahan (Wilmington, Del./Wilmington Charter) both have five.

Scranton (14-3 overall, 8-1 Landmark), which finished in a three-way tie for first in the Landmark Conference with Catholic and Susquehanna, was led by four goals from Katie Redding and two goals and four assists from Bridget Abraldes.

Sophomore
Isabella Bobé (York Springs, Pa./Bermudian Springs) made seven saves in the game for the Warriors. Gianna Travia and Julie Rogel stopped two shots in the win for the Royals.

Lycoming took 13 penalty corners, three more than the Royals, including 12 in the second half of the contest.
