WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – A pair of penalty kick goals in a span of two minutes in the second half helped the Lycoming College men's soccer team stay in first place in the Landmark Conference with a 3-0 shutout win over Juniata on Tuesday, Oct. 10 at UPMC Field.
The Warriors, riding a four-game winning streak, improved to 8-3-3 overall and moved to 5-0 in conference play heading into a showdown at second-place Catholic, the preseason favorites, on Saturday, Oct. 14, at 1 p.m.

Joey Francis (Camp Hill, Pa./Cedar Cliff) scored the first goal of the game, as he headed in a corner kick from senior
Pius Atubire (Arlington, Va./Yorktown), in the 39
th minute.
In the second half of the game, the Warriors continued to pressure. Sophomore
Christian Woobay (Gaitherburg, Md./Quince Orchard) scored on a penalty kick after he was fouled in the box before junior
Jaeden Asare (Letterkenny, Ireland/Perry Hall (Md.)) scored on a penalty kick after a handball in the box.
Axel Grater was busy all 90 minutes for the Eagles (5-6-1 overall, 1-4 Landmark), as he faced 14 shots and made four saves.
Senior
Nick Wilke (Mercerville, N.J./Notre Dame) secured his eighth shutout of the season, tied for fifth in program history, and the fourth in Landmark play, making two saves off seven Juniata shots.
