WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Senior
Dyson Harward (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) drained a 3-pointer with 15:26 left to become the 33
rd player in the Lycoming College men's basketball team's history to reach 1,000 career points, highlighting an afternoon where Lycoming hit 15 3-pointers to propel it to a key 77-66 MAC Freedom win over Stevens Institute of Technology on Sunday, Jan. 15, at Lamade Gym.

It was Lycoming's first win in four meeting as a member of the MAC Freedom with Stevens (8-8 overall, 5-2 MAC Freedom) and avenged a 71-68 setback to the Ducks in the 2022 MAC Freedom championship.

Harward was one of three players in double-figures, finishing with 14 points, 10 rebounds, three blocks and two assists for his seventh double-double of the year and the 31
st of his career, leaving him one shy of Matt Stackhouse's school-record record of 32 set from 2000-04. He also moved within a block of the school's career record of 158 set by Michael Rudy (2010-14).

Harward is the first Warrior to reach 1,000 career points since Alex Newbold '18 crossed the mark on Jan. 20, 2018. He did so in 79 games, the 22
nd fastest player to reach the mark.

Senior
Mo Terry (Severn, Md./Severn School) reached 20 points for the second time this year, notching 21, hitting 4-of-6 from deep, and he added a season-high six assists and four steals and junior
Steven Hamilton (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville Area) posted 19 points, going 5-of-9 from downtown, with three assists and five rebounds.

The Warriors (10-6 overall, 5-2 MAC Freedom) shot 47 percent from deep (15-of-32), the second straight game the team shot better than 45 percent from behind the arc, as it helped keep the Warriors in control of the lead for the last 35 minutes. The Warriors also controlled the glass, outrebounding the Ducks (8-8 overall, 5-2 MAC Freedom), 42-30, which led to a 25-5 advantage in second-chance points.

The Ducks cut within five of the Warriors 3:25 into the second half, but junior
Brendon Blackson (Laurel, Md./Laurel) drilled a corner 3-pointer and then Harward's 1,000
th point came via three to get the lead back into double figures. The Ducks closed within six with 12:03 left, and were within single digits as late as 6:30 left, but a trifecta from first-year
Isaiah Valentine (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg Area) made it 63-52 with 6:02 left. The Ducks didn't get closer than 10 in the closing minutes.

Terry hit a quartet of 3-pointers to open the scoring for the Warriors, the third of which put the Warriors in the lead 4:23 into the game and started a nine-point run capped by Harward's first 3-pointer. A 3-pointer from sophomore
Ivan Komitski (Sofia, Bulgaria/Lee Academy (Maine)) made it 20-8 with 11:34 left, the team's first double-digit lead. An eight-point run later in the half, capped by a second chance reverse layup from senior
DeAundre Manuel (Brooklyn, N.Y./KIPP NYC Prep), made it 31-14 with 5:25 left in the half. The Ducks cut that down to 12 at the break, 38-26.

Stevens was led by 21 points, nine rebounds and three blocks from Jack Spellman and 20 points from Mike Goodall. The Ducks shot 39 percent (22-of-57) from the field.

The Warriors get back on the court on Wednesday, Jan. 18, when they head to Misericordia to kick off a MAC Freedom doubleheader at 6 p.m. before the men play at 8 p.m.
