Cameron Upcraft (Spring Mills, Pa./Penns Valley) and senior
Elizabeth Kelson (Denville, N.J./Morris Catholic) each had five blocks to lead the Lycoming College volleyball team, which fell 3-0 (25-14, 25-22, 25-19) to Misericordia University in both teams' MAC Freedom opener on Wednesday night, Sept. 7, at Lamade Gym.

Upcraft led the Warriors (4-1 overall, 0-1 MAC Freedom) with 7.5 points, using two solo blocks, three assisted to go with two kills and two aces. Sophomore
Brynne Bisel (Julian, Pa./Bald Eagle Area) posted five kills and eight digs and sophomore
Jessica Ahart (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown Area) added four kills. Sophomore
Marykatelin Button (Avon, N.Y./Avon) led the team with seven assists and sophomore
Ali Koval (Mansfield, Pa./North Penn-Mansfield) added 15 digs.

Misericordia (4-2 overall, 1-0 MAC Freedom) was led by 10 kills from Sophie Winter and eight from Meghan Peters. Jenna Schuda posted 31 assists and two aces and Jessica Cleveland posted 11 digs.

The Warriors get back on the court on Saturday, Sept. 10, when they host Keystone at 11 a.m. and Marywood at 3 p.m. in a tri-match at Lamade Gym.
