WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Hitting better than .250 and limiting their opponents to less than .030, the Lycoming College volleyball team swept Keystone (25-19, 25-17, 25-15) and Marywood (25-16, 25-18, 25-23) in non-conference action at Lamade Gym on Saturday, Sept. 10.

The Warriors (6-1 overall) hit .312 in the opening win over the Giants (1-3 overall), adding 14 aces and four blocks in the win.

Sophomore
Brynne Bisel (Julian, Pa./Bald Eagle Area) notched nine kills and hit .471 to lead the team and first-year
Cameron Upcraft (Spring Mills, Pa./Penns Valley) added seven kills, three blocks and a .500 hitting percentage. Senior
Elizabeth Kelson (Denville, N.J./Morris Catholic) had six kills and hit .455.

Sophomore
Kendall Myers (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Trinity) led the team with five aces and 16 digs, sophomore
Marykatelin Button (Avon, N.Y./Avon) posted 16 assists, four aces and five digs and Bisel also added three aces. Sophomore
Ellie Norton (Morgantown, Pa./Twin Valley) also notched 14 assists. Sophomore
Arianna Santos (Oxford, Pa./Oxford Area) posted four blocks to lead the team in the win.

Rebecca Jackson led the Giants with seven kills and Hailey Herneisey notched eight digs. Elise Burk had 12 assists and Sage Superko posted three aces.

In the second match, the Warriors held the Pacers (3-3 overall) to just .011 hitting, scooping up 43 digs and adding seven blocks in the win.

Kelson and sophomore
Jessica Ahart (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown Area) each had nine kills to lead the Warriors, with Kelson also adding four blocks. Upcraft had seven kills, three aces and three blocks and Button posted 21 assists and three aces. Myers led the team with 21 digs.

Mikayla Meek notched eight kills for the Pacers, Sydney Steiner had 13 assists, Libby Smith posted three aces and Donna Bostjanic led the team with nine digs.

The Warriors get back on the court on Tuesday, Sept. 13, when they head to MAC Freedom opponent Delaware Valley for a 7 p.m. match.
