WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Sophomore
Rei Saar (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville Area) led the Lycoming College women's tennis team with a No. 3 singles victory and a No. 2 doubles win, but Lock Haven University used two doubles wins and four singles wins to post a 6-3 non-conference decision on Tuesday, Sept. 27, at Brandon Park.

In the No. 2 doubles slot with junior
Haley Seebold (New Columbia, Pa./Milton Area), Saar helped force a tiebreaker against Olivia Anastos and Delani Wolever, ending the game with a 8-7 (5) match win.

In the No. 3 singles position, Saar fell in the second set to Anastos in a tiebreaker but came back to win the match in the superset, 6-3, 6-7 (5-7), 10-6.

Emma Kelchner (Nescopeck, Pa./Central Columbia) also won in the No. 5 singles slot, defeating Lock Haven's Christy McLean, 6-2, 6-2.

Lock Haven advances to 2-0 and Lycoming falls to 1-3.

The Warriors return to the court on Saturday, Oct. 1, when they compete in the King's Invitational at Kirby Park.
