CRESSON, Pa. – Senior
Elizabeth Kelson (Denville, N.J./Morris Catholic) led the Lycoming College volleyball team with 11 kills and three blocks to lead the Lycoming College volleyball team, which fell to Mount Aloysius College, 3-1 (25-15, 26-28, 25-17, 25-20) on Thursday, Sept. 22, at the Athletic Convocation and Wellness Center.

Cameron Upcraft (Spring Mills, Pa./Penns Valley) added nine kills and two blocks and sophomore
Ava Coombs (Suffern, N.Y./Suffern) added eight kills, three aces and a block. Sophomore
Arianna Santos (Oxford, Pa./Oxford Area) posted five kills and three blocks and sophomore
Marykatelin Button (Avon, N.Y./Avon) posted 22 assists and eight digs. Sophomore
Kendall Myers (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Trinity) finished with 22 digs and sophomore
Brynne Bisel (Julian, Pa./Bald Eagle Area) added nine.

The Warriors (9-3 overall) led 23-17 in the second set before the Mounties rallied to tie the set at 24. The Warriors got points off an attack error and a ball handling error to take it 28-26. In the fourth set, the Mounties broke a tie at 20 with the last five points of the match.

The Mounties (4-10 overall) were led by 13 kills and 10 digs from Ashlee Parrish and 10 kills from Emily Henry. Madison Johnson had seven kills and three blocks and Emma Colyer had 20 assists. Sydney lecher posted 19 assists and three aces.

The Warriors get back on the court on Saturday, Sept. 24, when they head to a tri-match at Alfred State, facing Morrisville State at 1 p.m. before the host Pioneers at 3 p.m.
