WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Susquehanna University dealt the Lycoming College women's soccer team its first loss of the season, 3-0 in the annual River Derby, on Wednesday, Sept. 21, at UPMC Field.

Abbey Gerasimoff (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg) made nine  saves on 20 shots for the Warriors before she was relieved by first-year goalkeeper
Riley Block (Hopatcong, N.J./Morris Catholic).

The Warriors (5-1-2 overall) finished the evening with four shots and a corner kick.

Susquehanna opened their scoring just over three minutes into play before scoring two more in the second half, led by Gillian Mack, who scored both second half goals. Paisley Tornatore finished the game with two saves in goal.

The River Hawks advanced to 5-3-0.

The Warriors return to the field on Saturday, Sept. 24, when they travel to Widener University for a 5 p.m. kickoff in Chester, Pa.
