ARLINGTON, Va. – The Lycoming College women's soccer team fired 18 shots, but a great defensive effort helped Marymount University become the first team to draw with Lycoming in 2022, 0-0, on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 14, at Long Bridge Park.

The Saints recorded eight saves on Lycoming's 18 shots, while sophomore
Abbey Gerasimoff (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg) stopped two shots in her second complete shutout of the season and the team's school-record fifth straight shutout, extending the team's scoreless minutes streak to a record 504.

The Warriors had all seven corner kicks in the game in addition to an 18-8 advantage in shots. Hannah Mockenhaupt made seven saves for the Saints (0-4-1 overall).

The Warriors get back on the field on Saturday, Sept. 17, when they head to Bethany (W.Va.) for a 2 p.m. game.
