WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Sophomore
Sydney Sellers (Huntingdon, Pa./Huntingdon) scored twice to lead the Lycoming College women's soccer team in a 5-0 shutout of SUNY Delhi on Sunday, Sept. 11, at UPMC Field.

The Warriors (5-0 overall) improved on their best start in program history and have won five straight games for just the third time in program history, tying runs of five straight wins from 2021 and 2010. The Broncos fell to 1-2-2.

Three of the team's five goals were tallied off corner kicks, set up by first-year
Natalie Bates (Newark, N.Y./Newark), as Bates became the 12
th Warrior to post three assists in one game.

Two of those goals were scored by Sellers. Her first was goal three for the Warriors at 55:44 in the second half, where she was situated in the center of the goal. Sellers scored three minutes later on another corner by Bates, after senior
Bridgett Maaloum (Lynbrook, N.Y./Sacred Heart Academy) caught the ball just inside the box and passed to Sellers at the right goal post.

Abigail Umhoefer (Poughkeepsie, N.Y/Our Lady of Lourdes) opened the scoring for the Warriors in the first half at the 21-minute mark, her first career goal, off a bomb of a shot from just inside the top right of the box to the top of the net. First-year

Bella Green (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport Area), who headed the ball in of Bates entry pass.

Sarah Butler (Rocky Hill, Conn./Rocky Hill), heading the ball to first-year
Camryn Smeigh (New Bloomfield, Pa./West Perry), who left-footed a high shot from just outside the goal box into the back of the net.

First-year goalkeeper
Riley Block (Hopatong, N.J./Morris Catholic) made four saves to secure her first win and shutout as a Warrior. SUNY Delhi goalkeepers Andraya Hunt and Julia Ruppert made a combined eight saves.

The Warriors return to the field on Wednesday, Sept. 14, when they travel to Marymount University for a 4 p.m. kickoff in Arlington, Va., looking for a school-record sixth straight win.
