HAVERFORD, Pa. - Â First-year
Christian Woobay (Gaithersburg, Md./Quince Orchard)'s second-half goal helped lead the Lycoming College men's soccer team to a 1-0 shutout of Haverford College on the first day of the Jimmy Mills Classic, on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 10, at Swan Field.

Woobay's goal came unassisted in the 55
th minute after both teams were held scoreless through the first 45 minutes. The Warriors (2-0-2 overall) were awarded a free kick from just outside the top of the box, where Woobay delivered.

The win leaves head coach
Nate Gibboney with a career record of 109-41-20 since 2013, one win shy of the school record of 110 set by Scott Kennell from 2000-10.

Sophomore goalkeeper
Nick Wilke (Mercerville, N.J./Notre Dame) made four saves on nine shots and Fords (2-1-1 overall) goalkeeper Dylan Ioffreda made 10 stops.

The Warriors return to the field on Sunday, Sept. 11, when they face Rowan University on the second day of the Jimmy Mills Classic at 12 p.m. in Haverford, Pa.
