WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – After being down a break in the first set of his No.1 singles match, junior
Nathan Redell (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro Area) rallied to win three straight wins in a 7-5 comeback to take the first set and, after eventually entering a third-set tiebreaker, he came back from a 6-1 deficit to win, 11-9 as he highlighted the Lycoming College men's tennis team's 8-1 win over Mount Aloysius College on Friday afternoon, April 22, at Brandon Park.

Redell defeated Cole Kazmierczyk 7-5, 3-6, 11-9, and along with fellow Wellsboro teammate, sophomore
Luke Leach (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro Area) defeated Kazmierczyk and Matt Jacobs in the No.1 doubles slot, 8-3.

Leach defeated Tanner Beck, 6-0, 6-1, in the No.3 singles spot. Senior
Cody Greenaway (Milton, Pa./Milton Area) defeated Jacobs, 6-0, 6-1, in the No.2 spot. At No.4 singles, senior
Casey Haas (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville Area) defeated TJ Yablonski 6-2, 6-0 and junior
Jason Anderson (Littlestown, Pa./Littlestown) downed Hunter Reed in No.5 singles, 6-0, 6-0, for his team-leading ninth singles win of the year.

The Warriors swept doubles play with Greenaway and Haas beating Beck and Yablonski, 8-0, at No.2, and Anderson and Ebeid winning 8-0 over Reed and Evan Craw at No. 3.

The Warriors advance to 5-8 overall and Mount Aloysius falls to 1-10.

The Warriors return to the court on Saturday, April 23, when they host FDU-Florham at 1 p.m. in a MAC Freedom matchup at Brandon Park.
