DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – Senior
Kacee Reitz (Milton, Pa./Milton Area) had a hit in each game to lead the Lycoming College softball team, but a pair of shutouts from Delaware Valley's Olivia Monismith helped it to 8-0 and 4-0 MAC Freedom wins at the Delaware Valley Softball Field on Saturday, April 2.

Monismith tossed a three-hitter in the 8-0 six-inning win in the first game and a two-hitter in the 4-0 win in the nightcap.

Reitz was the lone Warrior with a hit in each game and she also added a stolen base in the first game. Junior
Morgan Wetzel (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain) had a hit and a stolen base in the first game and sophomore
Kylie Segraves (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport Area) also had a hit.

Delaware Valley (6-9 overall, 2-4 MAC Freedom) broke a scoreless tie in the first game with a two-out single by Yasmine Gonzalez before they broke open the game with six runs on nine hits in the fifth inning and ended it with a run in the sixth.

Avery Eiswerth (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport Area) (2-3) took the loss, allowing 12 hits and six earned runs in five innings.

Caitlyn Pollock led the Aggies, going 3-for-3, and Sierra Ripka, Carly Mahal, Gonzalez and Monismith all had two hits and a run.

The Aggies scored one run in the first, one in the fourth and two in the fifth in the second game, as Monismith allowed just hits to Reitz and senior
Morgan Klosko (Kingston, Pa./Wyoming Valley West) in the 4-0 win.

Ripka and Alyssa Gerdy had two hits and run to lead the Aggies. Monismith had two RBI and a double.

Junior
Payton Whary (Coal Township, Pa./Shamokin Area) (2-3) took the loss, allowing nine hits and three earned runs in a complete game. She struck out two.

The Warriors (4-10 overall, 0-2 MAC Freedom) get back on the field on Sunday, April 3, when they host Stevens in a MAC Freedom doubleheader at 2 p.m. at the Shangraw Athletic Complex.
