Jason Anderson (Littlestown, Pa./Littlestown) and sophomore
Luke Leach (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro Area) won their singles matches and respective doubles matches to lead the Lycoming College men's tennis team against Arcadia University, as Lycoming fell 5-4 in its MAC Freedom opener on Saturday, April 2, at Weiss Courts.

The Warriors forced four out of the six singles matches to go three sets, but Arcadia won three to claim the match. Anderson posted a 6-2, 6-2 win in the No. 5 slot over Ryan Salmon, 6-2, 6-2, and Leach won in three sets at the No. 3 spot against Francis Tamesis, 1-6, 6-2, 6-4.

Casey Haas (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville Area) defeated Tamesis and Matthew Nagy, 8-4. At No.3, Anderson and first-year
Mohammed Ebeid (Cairo, Egypt/Egyptian British International School) downed Salmon and David Cassel, 8-3.

The Warriors fall to 4-6 and 0-1 in the MAC Freedom. Arcadia advances to 2-0 overall and 1-0 in the MAC Freedom.

The Warriors return to the court on Saturday, April 9, when they host DeSales University for a 1 p.m. MAC Freedom match at Brandon Park.
