SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Junior
Tess Arnold (Elmira, N.Y./Elmira) and first-year
Katie Maguire (Garnerville, N.Y./Albertus Magnus) each had two goals to lead the Lycoming College women's lacrosse team, which fell to Susquehanna University, 21-6, in non-conference action at Sassafras Fields on Wednesday, March 16.

Arnold finished with two goals, an assist, a caused turnover, two ground balls, and four draw controls and Maguire added two ground balls, and a draw control. First-years
Kailey Stocker (Ringwood, N.J./Lakeland Regional) and
Erin Henn (Ronkonkoma, N.Y./Sayville) each added a goal a piece, with Henn also grabbing an assist.

With the River Hawks (5-2 overall) leading 3-0, Stocker scored the first goal for the Warriors (1-4 overall) with an assist from senior
Emma Lehr (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) three minutes into the game. Maquire's first goal, assisted by Arnold, came in the third quarter after Arnold won the draw, and her second came with 6:34 left in the fourth, assisted by Henn. Henn fired a shot past the goalie on a free-position shot two minutes later for the team's final goal.

Kelsey Homberg led the River Hawks with five goals, two assists, four groundballs, two caused turnovers and eight draw controls. Caroline Chase added two goals and five assists.

Sophomore goalkeeper
Zoe Stauffer (Lititz, Pa./Warwick) led the team with four ground balls and she stopped 18 shots. Susquehanna goalkeeper Emmy Regan made seven saves.

The win was Susquehanna head coach Randall Swope's 100
th career win in 16 seasons as a head coach at Franklin & Marshall, Bucknell and Susquehanna.

The Warriors return to the field on Saturday, March 19, when they host Buffalo State at 1 p.m., at UPMC Field.
