Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

Warriors fall at DeSales

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Junior Mo Terry (Severn, Md./Severn School) led the Lycoming College men's basketball team with 14 points, but a tough defense from the top-seed in the upcoming MAC Freedom Championships helped DeSales post a 76-38 win in the regular-season finale for both teams on Saturday evening, Feb. 19, at Billera Hall.

The Warriors (15-10 overall, 10-6 MAC Freedom) enter the MAC Freedom Championship as the No. 5 seed and will head to No. 4 Delaware Valley (15-9 overall, 10-6 MAC Freedom) for a 7 p.m. quarterfinal matchup on Wednesday, Feb. 23.

The Warriors were held to 33 percent (14-of-42) shooting from the floor while DeSales (21-4 overall, 14-2 MAC Freedom) shot 50 percent (31-of-62) and held a 42-24 advantage rebounding.

Junior Dyson Harward (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) posted four points and seven rebounds and both sophomore Steven Hamilton (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville Area) and junior DeAundre Manuel (Brooklyn, N.Y./KIPP NYC Prep) each added two assists.

A 3-pointer from Terry, his second of the game, three minutes into the game gave Lycoming an 8-6 lead, but the Bulldogs finished the half on a 33-7 run to take a 39-15 lead. The Warriors didn't get closer in the second half.

Timmy Edwards led the Bulldogs with 14 points, Christian Guldin posted 12 and hit four 3-pointers and Dat Lambers had 10 points. Matt Kachelries added nine assists.
