DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – Sophomore
Ashley Yoh (Myerstown, Pa./ELCO) led the Lycoming College women's basketball team with 11 points, but Delaware Valley University used a big first half to post a 69-39 MAC Freedom win on Saturday, Dec. 10, at James Work Gymnasium.

Yoh led the team in points for the third game in a row, as it was her fifth double-digit point game of the season, and she also added three steals and two rebounds. Sophomore
Jillian Pumputis (Westminster, Md./Westminster) threw in eight points and added three steals, two assists and three rebounds. Sophomore
Mya Wetzel (Frackville, Pa./North Schuylkill) posted seven points, two steals, two assists and three rebounds and sophomore
Meghan Dufner (Washington, N.J./Warren Hills Regional) finished with six points, an assist and two rebounds.

The Warriors (3-7 overall, 0-3 MAC Freedom) posted 16 points in the paint and had eight off turnover.

Yoh led the Warriors through the first half, posting seven points with two layups and a free throw in the first quarter and another layup in the second. Pumputis followed close behind, hitting a jumper in the first before notching five points in the second with a 3-pointer and another jumper.

The Warriors bounced back from a 19-point deficit at the beginning of the second half, posting 16 points in the third quarter as Dufner and Wetzel led with four points each. Wetzel hit a 3-point shot at the seven-minute mark. However, they weren't able to cut the deficit closer than 19 in the second half.

The Aggies (5-4 overall, 3-1 MAC Freedom) were led by Haley Keenan with 20 points, four steals and nine rebounds. Sophie Chevres, Taylor Richardson, and Maisie Neuber all posted 10 points.

The Warriors return to action on Thursday, Dec. 29, in the Hoops for Hounds Classic, as they host Baruch College at 5 p.m. at Lamade Gym.
