FREDERICK, Md. – A short-handed Lycoming College swimming team posted 17 season-best swims during a double-dual meet at Hood College, as the women were edged by Hood 115-103 and fell to Misericordia, 199-44, and the men fell to Hood, 130-83, and Misericordia, 181-62, in MAC action.
 
Junior Cathryn Brought (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro Area) led the Warriors, finishing second in the 100-yard freestyle (55.93) and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:13.96) and she finished fourth in the 400-yard individual medley (5:24.85), all personal-best times.
 
Junior Courtney Chapman (Warminster, Pa./William Tenant) added a personal-best time in the 100-yard butterfly (1:14.35) and first-year Megan Lonergan (York, Pa./York Suburban) notched personal-bests in the 50-yard freestyle (29.16) and 500-yard freestyle (6:12.41).
 
Sophomore Olivia Plotts (Pottstown, Pa./Pottsgrove) had a season-best 1:16.10 in the 100-yard backstroke, as did first-year Augustus Wood (Herndon, Va./Herndon), who posted a 1:10.17 to lead off the 400-yard medley relay. Junior Elisa DiNicola (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock Township) added a season-best 2:10.84 in the 200-yard freestyle.
 
Junior Eliot Keith (New Ringgold, Pa./Blue Mountain) notched a personal-best with a time of 2:29.80 in the 200-yard breaststroke. Senior Caleb Reigle (Mount Wolf, Pa./Northeastern) notched season-bests in the 500- (6:00.32) and 1,000-yard (12:20.96) freestyles and senior Reilly Gluz (Syracuse, N.Y./Williston-Northampton) had season-bests in the 100-yard butterfly (58.82) and 200-yard freestyle (2:04.99). Sophomore Noah Vivian (Barto, Pa./Boyertown Area) had a season-best time of 2:04.99 in the 200-yard freestyle and junior Brennan Warner (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro) notched a season-best 53.64 in the 100-yard freestyle.
 
Senior Matt Michenfelder (East Windsor, Pa./Hightstown) led off the 400-yard medley relay with a season-best 1:02.33 in the 100-yard backstroke.
 
The Warriors get back in the pool with the Diamond City Invitational at the Wilkes-Barre Catholic Youth Center from Nov. 18-20. The swimming starts on Friday, Nov. 18, at 5 p.m.
