LANCASTER, Pa. – Junior 
Emily Lockard (Benton, Pa./Benton) led the Lycoming College women's basketball team with 14 points as it fell to Elizabethtown College, 80-57, in non-conference action at the Franklin & Marshall Terry Greene Tip-off Classic on Saturday, Nov. 12, at the Mayser Center.
 
Lockard also added two rebounds and a steal as she went 6-for-11 in field-goal attempts. Sophomore 
Jillian Pumputis (Westminster, Md./Westminster) posted a career-high 13 points, three assists, and four rebounds, making two three-pointers. Sophomore 
Ashley Yoh (Myerstown, Pa./Eastern Lebanon County) had four rebounds and three assists to go with with seven points.
 
The Warriors (1-1 overall) shot 47 percent from the field with 24 points coming from the paint, but Elizabethtown (2-0 overall) scored 32 points off turnovers, as they shot 45 percent from the field (29-of-64).
 
Yoh opened the scoring for the Warriors, putting up two on a layup before the Blue Jays had a seven-point run. A three-pointer from first-year 
Kami Abdo (Pottsville, Pa./Nativity BVM) tied the game at seven, but the Blue Jays ended the quarter on an 18-3 run.
 
The Warriors were the first on the board starting the second ten minutes, as senior 
Kenzie Reed (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley) put up two points on another layup. Abdo and Pumputis hit back-to-back 3-pointers in the period as Lycoming countered the Blue Jays 22 points in the quarter with 17 of their own.
 
Sophomore 
Mya Wetzel (Frackville, Pa./North Schulkill) hit a 3-pointer to get the Warriors on the board in the second half, but the Blue Jays were able to extend their lead to 30 by the end of the third period and Lycoming never got closer than 20 in the final 10 minutes.
 
Summer McNulty led the Blue Jays with 17 points. Dani Rae Renno had 11 points, 12 rebounds and four assists and Kaeli Romanowski posted steals.
 
The Warriors return to action on Sunday, Nov. 13, when they face Penn State Harrisburg on the final day of the Terry Greene Tip-off Classic, for a 1 p.m. tip-off in Lancaster, Pa.
