Nathan Redell (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro Area) and junior
Luke Leach (Middlebury Center, Pa./Wellsboro Area) combined for three points for a short-handed Lycoming College men's tennis team, which fell to Albright College, 5-4, on Saturday, Oct. 8, at the Albright Tennis Courts.

The No. 1 doubles pairing of Redell and Leach gave the Warriors their first point of the match, defeating Clay Lewandowski and Kobe Serpa, 8-4.

At No. 1 singles, Redell picked up his second win in a, 6-3, 6-3, win over Arpit Gainder. At No. 2, Leach also picked up his second singles win, defeating Serpa, 6-1, 6-3.

Senior
Jason Anderson (Littlestown, Pa./Littlestown) won his fourth match at No. 3, downing Lewandowski, 6-4, 7-5.

The Warriors won four of the six contested matches, but Albright was able to pick up the win thanks to defaults at No. 3 doubles, No. 5 and No. 6 singles.

The Warriors end the fall portion of the season 0-3. Albright improved to 3-3.

The Warriors return to the court in 2023 when they take on Penn State Altoona on Sunday, March 12, at 1 p.m. at the Central PA Tennis Center in South Williamsport, Pa.
