DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – A solid defensive effort held ninth-ranked Delaware Valley University to its lowest point total against a Middle Atlantic Conference opponent since 2018, but the Lycoming College football team fell, 21-0, in a defensive battle at James Work Memorial Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 8.

The last time the Aggies (6-0 overall, 4-0 MAC) were held to 21 points was a 21-10 win over Wilkes on Sept. 15, 2018, as the team won its 40
th straight conference game. The Aggies finished with 368 yards of offense, but were held to just 66 offensive plays.

Austin Rowley (Schwenksville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) led the Warriors (2-3 overall, 1-2 MAC) with eight tackls and junior
Hunter Campbell (Enola, Pa./East Pennsboro) added seven. Senior

David Tomb (Jersey Shore, Pa./Jersey Shore Area) had 1.5 tackles for loss.

Elijah Shemory (Jersey Shore, Pa./Jersey Shore Area) finished 12-of-27 for 85 yards and sophomore
Heath Jones (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville Area) added 14 carries for 30 yards.

The Aggies got on the scoreboard first in the second quarter, notching a touchdown after an interception set them up at the Lycoming 18, with Louie Barrios finding Dez Austin in the left corner for the 18-yard score.

The Aggies started the third quarter with a 10-play, 79-yard drive, which was aided by a 36-yard completion on 3-and-16 near midfield, setting up an eventual 17-yard score by Dillon Shamanow.

Lycoming answered with an 18-play, 54-yard drive that stalled at the Aggies' seven yard line before a missed field goal ended the drive.

In the fourth quarter, the Aggies scored their last touchdown on a 32-yard completion from Barrios to David Almodovar to cap a 71-yard drive.

Barrios finished 16-of-30 for 194 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Aggie offense. Bashir Morgan had two catches for 51 yards. Barrios also ran nine times for 79 yards and Tahmir Barksdale rushed four times for 43 yards.

Michael Nobile had seven tackles and a sack and Anthony Puntolillo notched six stops, 2.5 for loss. Blaine Netterman had an interception and three breakups for the Aggies.

The Aggies were penalized 14 times for 130 yards.

The Warriors get back on the field, returning home to face Stevenson University at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15, at David Person Field.
