WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – In their first sweep of the season, the Lycoming College women's tennis team notched a 9-0 victory against non-conference opponent Penn College on Friday, Oct. 7, at Brandon Park.

Hannah Seebold (New Columbia, Pa./Milton Area) won her third singles match of the season with a, 6-2, 6-0, win over Ellen Buckley. At No. 2 singles junior
Emily Wolfgang (Allenwood, Pa./Montgomery Area) secured her second singles win of the season, beating Lauren Peck, 6-4, 6-2. In the No. 3 position, sophomore
Rei Saar (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville Area) won her seventh match with a 6-3, 6-0, win over Georgia Macensky.

Emma Kelchner (Nescopeck, Pa./Central Columbia) took home her fifth win at No. 4 after defeating Kassadi Lenhart, 6-1, 6-0. Sophomore
Sarah Lanphear (Chittenango, N.Y./Chittenango) won her fourth singles match, defeating Jordan Specht after Specht forced a tiebreaker, 7-6 (7-3), 6-3, at No. 5. In the No. 6 singles slot, first-year
Greta Kimble (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport) defeated Hannah Burnett, 6-1, 6-0, for her first singles win.

At No. 1 doubles, Seebold and Wolfgang shutdown Buckley and Peck, 8-4. At No. 2 doubles, Kelchner and Saar closed the match with an 8-1 win over Macensky and Burnett and at No. 3, Kimble and Lanphear defeated Specht and Lenhart, 8-4.

The Warriors improved to 3-3 and Penn College fell to 0-1.
