WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The regionally-ranked Lycoming College men's soccer team secured a berth in the MAC Freedom Championship with a 2-0 Senior Day shutout of DeSales University on Saturday, Oct. 22, at UPMC Field.

Lycoming, ranked seventh in the latest United Soccer Coaches' Region IV poll, finished the day with 15 points in conference play thanks to a 5-2 record, four points behind league-leading Stevens (6-0-1 MAC Freedom) and three points ahead of Misericordia and Wilkes, who each have two conference games left to Lycoming's one.

Brayden Wise (Baltimore, Md./Archbishop Curley) bounced off the left goal post for Chamovitz, who finished at the corner of the goal box.

Nick Wilke (Mercerville, N.J./Notre Dame) finished with two saves. Nathan Hatzfeld finished with seven saves for the Bulldogs (5-9-2 overall, 0-5-1 MAC Freedom).

The Warriors return to the field on Tuesday, Oct. 25, when they travel to Region V's fifth-ranked Gettysburg College for a non-conference matchup at 7 p.m. in Gettysburg, Pa.
