WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lycoming College volleyball team fell to Stevens Institute of Technology, 3-0 (25-13, 25-14, 25-20) in MAC Freedom action on Wednesday night, Oct. 19, at Lamade Gym.

The Warriors (11-11 overall, 2-5 MAC Freedom) were led by five kills from first-year
Cameron Upcraft (Spring Mills, Pa./Penns Valley), who also added a block. Sophomore
Marykatelin Button (Avon, N.Y./Avon) added 13 assists and a block and senior
Elizabeth Kelson (Denville, N.J./Morris Catholic) had three kills and four blocks. Sophomore
Ellie Norton (Morgantown, Pa./Twin Valley) added three aces and sophomore
Kendall Myers (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Trinity) posted 11 digs.

Stevens (17-6 overall, 6-0 MAC Freedom) was led by eight kills from Liz Patterson and six from Elle Maggio. Kathleen Riegner had 16 assists and Madison Sappia notched four aces. Sophia Schaefer posted three blocks and Riegner led the team with six digs.

The Ducks hit .271 in the match and had a .900 reception percentage to outpace the Warriors, who hit .121 with a .803 reception percentage.

The Warriors get back on the court on Tuesday, Oct. 25, when they head to MAC Freedom opponent DeSales University for a 7 p.m. clash to wrap up conference play.
