MADISON, N.J. – Sophomore
Kendall Myers (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Trinity) scooped up 18 digs to cross 600 in her career to lead the Lycoming College volleyball team, which fell to FDU-Florham, 3-0 (26-24, 25-20, 25-17) in MAC Freedom action at Ferguson Recreation Center on Tuesday, Oct. 11.

The Warriors (11-10 overall, 2-4 MAC Freedom) scooped up 65 digs in the match, with sophomore
Brynne Bisel (Julian, Pa./Bald Eagle Area) adding 15 digs. First-year
Cameron Upcraft (Spring Mills, Pa./Penns Valley) posted nine kills and four blocks and senior
Elizabeth Kelson (Denville, Pa./Morris Catholic) notched five kills and a block. Sophomore
Jessica Ahart (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown Area) posted four kills and sophomore
Marykatelin Button (Avon, N.Y./Avon) posted 17 assists.

Lycoming led 17-13 in the first set before FDU-Florham came back to take a 19-18 lead. The Warriors scored the next five points to lead 23-19 before the Devils scored four in a row. The Warriors got the first set point, but the Devils scored three in a row to close out a 26-24 win. Lycoming led 6-1 in the second set, but a 16-7 run by the Devils after that helped them to a 25-20 win. The Warriors fought back from a 10-point deficit in the third set to get as close as five.

Rachel Reiter finished with eight kills and three blocks, Charlotte Fruscione notched seven kills and Kacie Ros posted 20 assists, 14 digs and three aces for the Devils. Julia Hudson added 17 digs.

The Warriors get back on the court on Wednesday, Oct. 19, when they host Stevens in a 7 p.m. MAC Freedom match.
