Bella Green (South Williamsports, Pa./South Williamsport Area) and
Bridgett Maaloum (Lynbrook, N.Y./Sacred Heart Academy) led the Lycoming College women's soccer team to a 2-0 shutout of Delaware Valley University to open MAC Freedom competition on Homecoming Saturday, Oct. 1, at the newly-dedicated UPMC Field at Keiper Stadium.

Maaloum opened the scoring for the Warriors (7-2-2 overall, 1-0 MAC Freedom) in the 26
th minute from the top right corner of the box after a through pass from Green at center field.

Green's goal in the 81
st minute was a header directly in front of the goal off a pass from Maaloum from just inside the box.

Sophomore goalkeeper
Abbey Gerasimoff (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg) finished the game with two saves for the shutout win. Olivia Sherwood made 23 saves for the Aggies (6-4-1 overall, 0-1 MAC Freedom).

The Warriors return to the field on Tuesday, Oct. 1, when they host Wilkes University at 4 p.m. at UPMC Field.
