GLENSIDE, Pa. – First-year
Meghan Dufner (Washington, N.J./Warren Hills Regional) flirted with a triple-double, scoring a team-high 14 points to go with nine rebounds and seven steals to lead the Lycoming College women's basketball team against MAC Freedom opponent Arcadia University, which posted a 65-51 win on Saturday, Jan. 8, at Alumni Gymnasium.

Sophomore
Allison Butler (Pine Grove, Pa./Pine Grove Area) scored 13 points, her seventh double-digit game of the year, as well as posting one assist and five rebounds. Junior
Kenzie Reed (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley) had a team-leading three assists to go with nine points and four rebounds. Juniors
Emily Zoscin (Weatherly, Pa./Weatherly Area),
Diana Rantz (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) and sophomore
Mia Rudalavage all posted four points.

Sophomore
Emily Lockard (Benton, Pa/Benton Area) kickstarted the game for the Warriors (3-10 overall, 3-2 MAC Freedom), scoring on a layup just 20 seconds into the game. The Warriors jumped out to an 11-5 lead in the game's first six minutes before the Knights (4-9 overall, 2-3 MAC Freedom) fought back to tie the game at 13 on a free throw from Holly Daveski.

A jumper from Rudalavage was the first scoring opportunity for the Warriors in the second period, but the Knights expanded on a four-point first quarter advantage, entering the half with a 30-25 lead.

The Knights shot 46 percent from the field in the third quarter en route to 22 points, taking a 52-36, as they led by double figures for all but 50 seconds of the last period. Dufner led the Warriors with run of eight straight points by herself, cutting the lead to 55-46 with 6:52 left, but Arcadia closed the game on a 10-5 run.

Julia Makowski lead the Knights with 22 points, two assists and four rebounds and Scarlett Glasser-Nehls posted 13 points and four rebounds. Sidney Barrer led the team with 13 rebounds.

The Warriors return to the court on Wednesday, Jan. 12, as they host Wilkes University for a 6 p.m. MAC Freedom tip-off.
