Dyson Harward (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) posted a career-high 27 points to go along with 14 rebounds for his 10
th double-double of the season, helping lead the Lycoming College men's basketball team to a 71-67 win over FDU-Florham in MAC Freedom action at the Ferguson Recreation Center on Sunday afternoon, Jan. 30.

The Warriors (12-7 overall, 7-3 MAC Freedom) led by at least eight points for the first 19 minutes of the second half, before a layup helped make it 66-60 with 57 seconds left. Junior
Mo Terry (Severn, Md./Severn School) hit a layup as the shot clock wore down with 29 seconds left and the team hit 3-of-4 free throws at the line in the waning seconds to ensure the win, while FDU-Florham (3-16 overall, 0-11 MAC Freedom) countered with five late points.

DeAundre Manuel (Brooklyn, N.Y./KIPP NYC Prep) added 15 points, six rebounds and three steals, as the starting Lycoming posts combined for 42 points, 20 of the team's 44 rebounds and shot 62 percent (18-of-29) from the floor.

Matt Ilodigwe (Wilmington, Del./Concord) posted nine points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals, sophomore
Mavin James (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) added eight points and four rebounds and sophomore
Steven Hamilton (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville Area) added six points, six rebounds and four assists. Terry also added six points.

The Warriors shot 50 percent from the floor (28-of-56) and held a plus-20 advantage on the glass, leading to 42 points in the paint.

The two teams went through four lead changes and one tie in the game's opening four minutes before a layup from Harward with 16:06 left gave Lycoming the lead in the midst of a six-point run. The Warriors' expanded the lead in the last five minutes of the half, using a 7-2 run to take a 32-24 lead into halftime.
Matthew Johnson finished with 16 points and five assists and Jamal Santana had 19 points, hitting five 3-pointers, off the bench. In the second half, the Warriors led by as many as 15 (55-40) with 8:58 left before the Devils made their run to cut the lead to single digits in the final two minutes.

The Warriors get back on the field on Wednesday, Feb. 2, when they head to King's for an 8 p.m. MAC Freedom game to wrap up a conference doubleheader.
