WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – First-year Arianna Santos (Oxford, Pa./Oxford Area) posted a career-best 11 kills to lead the Lycoming College volleyball team to a 3-0 (25-14, 25-13, 25-17) win over Penn College on Tuesday night, Sept. 7, at Bardo Gym.
 
First-year Dakota Woomer (Tyrone, Pa./Bellwood-Antis) added seven kills and hit.375 while Santos also posted three blocks for the Warriors (3-2 overall). First-year Sydney Guethlein (Cincinnati, Ohio/West Clermont) posted five blocks and three kills. Sophomore Gabriela Chaparro Coss (Rio Grande, Puerto Rico/DeSarrollo Del Nino) notched 15 assists and eight digs and first-year Kendall Myers (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Trinity) posted four aces and 28 digs as the libero. First-year Camryn Quelet (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) also added 10 digs.
 
Cheyenne Stein led the Wildcats (0-3 overall) posted five kills, 12 assists and 11 digs and Hannah Burnett notched 16 digs.
 
The Warriors get back in action on Wednesday, Sept. 8, when they host FDU-Florham in both teams' MAC Freedom opener at 7 p.m., in Lamade Gym.
