SELINSGROVE, Pa.- Sophomore Luke Leach (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro Area) won his first match of the season for the Lycoming College men's tennis team on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 14, as Lycoming fell to Suquehanna 8-1 at the Garrett Complex Tennis Courts.
 
Leach fell behind 5-2 early in the first set before rebounding to take the last five of six games to win the set from Susquehanna's Tim Basta, 7-6 (7-4).  Leach also went on to win a third set tie breaker against Basta, 10-4, after falling 2-6 in the second set.
 
The Warriors are 0-1 overall while Susquehanna starts its season 1-0.
 
The Warriors return to the court on Wednesday, Sept. 15, at 3:30 p.m., when they hit the road for Juniata College.
