Bella Green (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport Area) scored early in the second half and senior
Bekki Weller (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg Area) recorded her first career shutout by making four saves in a 1-0 win over Penn State-Altoona on Sunday afternoon, Sept. 12, at Spring Run Stadium.

Green's goal came three minutes into the second period as she took a pass, dribbled past two defenders and then launched a dagger from just outside the box that flew into the right side of the net.

The goal highlighted a day where the Warriors held a 14-5 advantage in shots and a 9-2 advantage in corners kicks.

In net, Weller stopped three shots in the first period and one in the second, as she stopped a breakaway attempt with a dive as the clock neared 10 minutes left. Penn State-Altoona keeper Jadyn Michael also stopped four shots.

The Warriors get back on the field on Wednesday, Sept. 15, when they host Penn College in the Battle for the Lumber at 7 p.m.
