WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Lycoming College Associate Director of Athletics for Communications Joe Guistina announced the addition of Samantha Robinson as the athletic communications assistant on Monday, Aug. 23.
 
Robinson will assist Guistina in all aspects of the athletic communications department.
 
Robinson graduated from Point Park University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in photojournalism, specializing in sports photojournalism.
While attending Point Park, Robinson served as the primary photographer for Point Park athletics, providing photographic work for all online and social media content for the department across 12 sports.
 
In addition to working with the athletic office, Robinson's work was published 35 times in the student newspaper, The Globe.
 
Robinson also completed a mass media internship with the University of Pittsburgh Women's Ice Hockey team, where she served as assistant game day manager and photographer for the Panthers. Duties as game day manager included statistics and announcing, graphic design work for game day programs, and post-game write-ups for the team's website.
 
A native of Carlisle, Pa., Robinson will begin work for a Master of Science in sports management from California University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in intercollegiate athletic administration in December.
