WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – With a large returning nucleus, Lycoming College's eighth-year head men's soccer coach
Nate Gibboney announced an eight-member recruiting class that will significantly strengthen the team's midfield as it makes its first run in the MAC Freedom in 2021.

The group features seven midfielders, two defenders, and a forward.

The Warriors reached the MAC Commonwealth Championship game in six of its final seven years in the league before its first year after rejoining the MAC Freedom in 2020 was cancelled due to COVID. The team went 3-1 in exhibition games during the spring.

The Warriors open the 2021 season on Wednesday, Sept. 1, at 6 p.m. at UPMC Field against Mount Saint Mary.

Jaeden Asare, M, Rosedale, Md./Perry Hall – A four-year letterwinner at Perry Hall … earned all-division and first-team all-county honors as a junior … helped team to Baltimore County Championship game as a senior … also a sprinter and jumper on the track and field team, finishing 25
th in the region in the 800-meter run (2:12.11) and sixth in the high jump (5-6) as a sophomore

Sean Campbell, M, Catonsville, Md./Catonsville – A two-year letterwinner at Catonsville … team MVP … also played with Liverpool FC Academy, which reached Region 1 Championships in 2021.

Obiazie Chinatu, F, Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin East (Lackawanna College) – Played one year at Lackawanna College, appearing in one game during 2021 … a four-year letterwinner at Central Dauphin East, posting 20 goals and five assists in career … also played with LDC Volt and Allentown United FC club teams.

Steven Kigemuzi, M, Entebbe, Uganda/Boston – Played club soccer with the Entebbe Football Club, earning the team's MVP award in 2018 … named a Federation of Uganda Football Association promising player (2015).

Bloomsburg Press Enterprise MVP honors … posted 30 goals in career and helped team to 67-15-13 record in his career, winning three district titles … helped Millville to a state title as a sophomore … also a four-year letterwinner in basketball, helping team to district title as a sophomore … played club soccer with North Union United S.C.

Owen Magee, M, Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area – A four-year letterwinner at Selinsgrove Area … posted 56 career goals and 50 assists for 162 career points … scored 10 game-winning goals in career … helped team to two district titles and appearances in the state tournament … had 19 goals and 18 assists as a senior to earn first-team all-conference honors, the third of his career … earned second-team all-conference honors as a freshman … also a four-year letterwinner as a distrance runner in track and field … finished 14
