DALLAS, Pa. – Junior Michael Turck (Homer, N.Y./Homer) shot a 100 during the first round of the MAC Freedom Championship to represent the Lycoming College golf team at the par-72, 6,443-yard Huntsville Golf Club on Saturday, April 24.
 
Turck turned in a 48 on the front nine with a par and five bogeys before posting a 52 with four bogeys on the back nine, helping him finish the round tied for 38^th.
 
Stevens' Gus Vickers and Wilkes' Michael Sherrick are tied for the lead after posting a 2-over-par 74 in the first round. Stevens leads the team standings by 15 strokes after posting a 12-over-par 300.
 
Turck will wrap up the two-day championship on Sunday, April 25, with tee times set to begin at 12 p.m. at Huntsville Golf Club.
