Erica Lutz (Bernville, Pa./Hamburg) moved into a tie for fourth in the Lycoming College women's basketball team's history with her 24
th career double-double, but a run of 17 straight points from undefeated DeSales University to start the game helped it to an 89-51 MAC Freedom win at Billera Hall on Friday night, March 12.

Lutz finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Warriors (2-2 overall), as she tied
Shelby Mueller (2014-18) with 24 career double-doubles, reaching the mark in just 81 career games. She also added three blocks and shot 5-of-10 from the field, keeping her school-record field goal percentage at .526.

Allison Wagner (York, Pa./Central York) added 10 points and four assists and sophomore
Emily Zoscin (Weatherly, Pa./Weatherly Area) added eight points, three rebounds and three assists. Sophomore
Kenzie Reed (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley) had four points, four rebounds and two blocks and sophomore
Diana Rantz (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) notched a career-best six rebounds to go with three points.

The Bulldogs (7-0 overall) led 21-8 at the end of the first quarter after scoring the first 17 points and extended the lead to 31 near the end of the second quarter. The Warriors outscored the Bulldogs in the third quarter, 26-23, shooting 53 percent from the field in the period (9-of-17), with Lutz contributing 10 points in the frame and Wagner adding eight thanks to two 3-pointers. The Bulldogs never let Lycoming within 23 in the final 20 minutes.

Averi Jordan led DeSales with 28 points, five assists and three steals, Isabel Caruso added 15 points, eight steals and four assists, Mikaela Reese posted 14 points, nine rebounds and three blocks and Rylie Rittenhouse posted 10 points and four assists, as DeSales shot 47 percent (33-of-71) from the field and held a 46-8 advantage in points off turnover.
