HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Juniors
Diana Rantz (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) and
Kenzie Reed (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley) led the Lycoming College women's basketball team, as both finished in double figures in a 75-50 setback to Ohio Northern University to wrap up the team's time at the Juniata College Tip-Off Tournament at Memorial Gymnasium on Saturday, Nov. 20.

Rantz had a career-high 11 points adding two rebounds and Reed followed with 10 points, two steals and two rebounds. Reed went 4-for-6 from the floor while Rantz went 3-for-5 in 3-point shots. Sophomore
Allison Butler (Pine Grove, Pa./Pine Grove Area) scored eight points to go with two steals, an assist and four rebounds, and first-year
Meghan Dufner (Washington, N.J./Warren Hills Regional) had seven points and four rebounds. First-year
Ashley Yoh (Myerstown, Pa./Eastern Lebanon County) had six rebounds.

The Warriors struck first in the game thanks to a fastbreak layup by Reed, but the Polar Bears out scored the Warriors, 21-8, in the period. Rantz netted a 3-point shot with a minute left in the second quarter to cut the difference to 11 points, but the Polar Bears scored 40 points in the second half while allowing 28 to earn the win.

Alissa Stahler led Ohio Northern with 14 points, two steals and seven rebounds.

The Warriors return to the court on Tuesday, Nov. 23, to face Penn College at 5 p.m. at Bardo Gym.
