Nate Redell (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro Area) won his first singles match of the season for the Lycoming College men's tennis team in the No. 1 slot and he added another win at No. 1 doubles to pace the team in a 7-2 win over Elizabethown College on Saturday, Oct. 9, at Alumni Courts.

Redell downed Elizabethtown's John Ritter, 6-0, 6-0 in the No. 1 singles and teamed with partner senior
Cody Greenaway (Milton Pa./Milton Area), as they defeated John Ritter and Jon Hanson, 8-4 in the No. 1 doubles slot.

Casey Haas (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville Area) won at No. 3 singles, defeating John Hanson, 6-2, 7-6 (2), junior
Jason Anderson (Littlestown, Pa./Littlestown) won at No. 4 singles, defeating Sam Langer, 6-0, 6-2 and sophomore
Luke Leach (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro Area) won at No. 5 singles, defeating Brendan Guy, 6-1, 6-2.

The Warriors also won by default at No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles.

Lycoming improved to 1-4 overall, in their first win over the Blue Jays (0-1 overall) since a 5-4 win in the 2010 MAC Commonwealth Championship match.

The Warriors return to Brandon Park on Sunday, Oct. 10, to host Albright College at 1:30 p.m., to wrap up their fall season.
