Camryn Quelet (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) posted 10 kills to lead the Lycoming College volleyball team, which fell to MAC Freedom-leading DeSales University, 3-0 (25-19, 25-18, 25-14) on Tuesday night, Oct. 12, at Lamade Gym.

The Warriors (8-13 overall, 2-3 MAC Freedom) got six kills from first-year
Brynne Bisel (Julian, Pa./Bald Eagle Area), 20 assists, six digs and two aces from sophomore
Megan Starkweather (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro Area), three blocks from first-year
Sydney Guethlein (Cincinnati, Ohio/West Clermont) and 15 digs from first-year
Ali Koval (Mansfield, Pa./North Penn-Mansfield), as she reached 350 digs on the season during the match.

The Warriors jumped out to a 13-10 lead in the first set, with a kill from junior
Elizabeth Kelson (Denville, N.J./Morris Catholic) making it that score. The Bulldogs used a 9-3 run late in the set to take the 25-19 win. In the second set, the Warriors led 13-9 after a kill from Bisel before a late 12-2 run by DeSales helped it to a 25-18 win. The Bulldogs jumped out to a 10-3 lead in the second set en route to the win.

Delanie Zohler led the Bulldogs (12-6 overall, 5-0 MAC Freedom) with 12 kills and eight digs and Caroline Garretson added 13 digs and two blocks. Grace Grandinetti posted 23 assists, McKenzie Brady notched three aces and Mykenah Calder led the team with 16 digs.

The Warriors get back on the court on Saturday, Oct. 16, when they head to Frederick, Md., for a tri-match at Hood College, facing Elizabethtown College at 12 p.m. and the hosts at 2 p.m.
